50 PROJECTS IN 50 DAYS - MY EXPERIENCE & ADVICE

Updated: Jan 3

So, you’ve probably never heard of this, or you have or you can kind of guess what it is about and I had my experience with it and I just want to let you know how it works, examples of projects that i did and how it looked like for me. Disclaimer: I’m not perfect and it took me longer than the 50 days I had set to complete it, but I did it.

So basically, it is doing 50 projects in 50 days. It’s as simple as that. I wanted to do this because I wanted to do something productive during my free time instead of always trying to watch TV shows and mindlessly scrolling through social media. This project led to the birth of this blog, so if you’re reading this, it works. I did this when I had a job, an internship, classes and a social life to manage. There are days where I had heavy things to do, so the project was an easy one, like cleaning something I always wanted to clean, or painting something I always wanted to re-paint. On days where I had nothing much planned for the day, I’ll do something like a social media cleanse, write a bit more, or do a photography series and stuff. I also did bigger projects and spread them throughout the 50 projects like getting a digital marketing certificate. That was going to take me a while so I broke it down, the same thing with making the blog, and preparing material for it.

I wanted these 50 projects to be productive but also really fun, and hence some of them were road trip plans and vacations plans and spring break activities. Honestly, you make it what you want. If you’ve always wanted to be a lifestyle blogger, this pushes you to find 50 things in that area you can explore and it pushes you to do something about it everyday, that’s my most favorite thing about this honestly. Just think of everything you’ve always wanted to do and never have, and make that your 50 projects in 50 days.
