20 IMPORTANT LESSONS I HAVE LEARNED IN MY 20’S.

Updated: Jan 3

  1. Keep going. No matter how stuck you feel. No matter how bad things are at the moment. No matter how hopeless and depressed you feel. This won’t last forever. Things won’t feel like that forever. Keep going.

  2. Everyone believes in something; themselves, their job, their family, the world, or politics, or God. Make sure you believe in something that never changes.

  3. Everything you have right now, even this moment was something you once hoped or prayed for, so enjoy it.

  4. If you are anxious, you are not living in the moment.

  5. Let everything you do be a reflection of who you are.

  6. The only opinions that should matter are God’s, yours, and the opinions of those who want the best for you and love you.

  7. It will be okay in the end, if it’s not okay, then it’s not the end.

  8. Don't compare, everyone’s on their own journey.

  9. You don’t have to have it all figured out, just take a step.

  10. At the root of every fear is unbelief.

  11. Choose to be kind. People are fighting battles that you don’t know.

  12. You are enough. You need to know this before pursuing anything, because if you aren’t happy with yourself when you have nothing, you will not be happy with yourself when you have everything.

  13. No marriage is easy and even after all the careful selection, you could be hurt but if you have your priorities right, then your purpose wouldn’t have changed and you will grow.

  14. You’ve got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.

  15. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don’t do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old.If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight.Anybody can grow older. That doesn’t take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change.

  16. “Life is a do-it-yourself project.” Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the “house” you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, Build wisely!

  17. The real gap is between doing nothing and doing something.

  18. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking I have something to lose.

  19. You are as good as you believe you are.

  20. Love. Love. Love.
